Responsibilities
- Perform condition monitoring and vibration analysis of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Assist in the development and execution of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to implement equipment improvement programs.
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of reliability performance reports.
- Participate in the commissioning and performance testing of new or overhauled equipment.
- Work closely with vendors and OEMs to ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Analyze equipment performance trends to identify potential failures and propose preventive measures.
- Conduct technical reviews of spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant productivity.
- Provide technical input for equipment upgrades or replacements as part of long-term asset management.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Monitor and interpret oil analysis results for rotating equipment to detect wear patterns and prevent failures.
- Actively participate in plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and startups to ensure equipment reliability goals are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 2 years of experience in rotating equipment reliability, maintenance, or condition monitoring is an advantage.
- Certified Basic certification in vibration analysis (e.g., ISO Category I) or similar is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and their maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis tools and techniques is a plus.
- Understanding of reliability concepts such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
