Material Plant Supply Procurement Buyer

Responsibility :

• Identify requirement of Material related PRs received from related users (Maintenance & Operation) and verify the specific requirement to align with Company’s Procurement Procedure.
• Make inquiries to suppliers for goods as required by users/line.
• Process material PRs to POs, starting from receive PR, sourcing Vendors/Contractors’ selection, RFQ, bidding process, receive quotation, formulate & negotiate Terms & Conditions, perform Commercial Evaluation, propose and follow-up Rehearsal/CCM , create Material POs and monitor POs approval to ensure procurement process runs smooth.
• Convert PRs to POs within the stipulated target time frame (agreed SLA) and in line with company general policy and procedure of procurement as well as business ethics and code of conducts.
•  Achieve specific costs savings target for the department set by General Manager by implementing alternative contracting strategy and good negotiation strategy.
• Identify market characteristics, market reference and new cost savings opportunities related to new technology or new product which relevant to Company’s requirement.
• Prepare required reports timely and accurately to be a basis of commercial evaluation to be proposed to PO Approval/CCM approval.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding commercial relationship  to achieve best price, quality and favourable terms & conditions.
• Perform good communication and relationship with internal CNP Department and related User Department to conduct effective and efficient procurement process.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor degree in all major, preferrably from industrial engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation/physics engineering. 
• Have 1-3 years working experience in similar position/ Freshgraduate are welcome to apply.
• Computer literate using Ms. Office in daily activities.
• Good in english skills both spoken & written. 

This position will be placed at Site Office Cilegon
