Job Accountabilities
- Supervise a team of technicians, assign tasks, and ensure high-quality execution of their work. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other supervisors to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all instrumentation and control systems. Ensure the accuracy of field instruments by enforcing calibration standards and schedules.
- Monitor the performance of all equipment, identify and analyze recurring issues, and work with engineering to implement improvements. Troubleshoot problems with systems like Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of new instruments during project phases. Plan and lead the instrumentation activities during plant shutdowns and turnarounds, as well as emergency situations.
- Manage spare parts inventory, ensure necessary tools and equipment are available, and initiate purchase requests when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Degree of Electrical/Instrument Engineering
- Minimum 7 Years of experience in Site Supervision activities of Petrochemical / Chemical / Oil & Gas / Refineries / Fertilizer project
- Deep knowledge of process instrumentation (pressure, level, flow, temperature, and analytical instruments) and control systems (DCS, PLC, and ESD).
- The ability to perform loop diagnostics, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and optimize system performance.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documents, including P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives.
- Working experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) like SAP.
- Proficient in using MS office
- Excellent communication skills in English
Willing to work as contract based (1 year), and this position will be placed at site office project.
