TS Thermoforming and Cable Engineer

We are looking for potential and high caliber talent for the above position who is keen to grow with us as we develop our new Chandra Asri plant. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Plan and conduct a routine visit to Thermoforming & Cable customers - either contract, spot or prospective customer, and report the visit through CRM.
• Receive and handle Thermoforming & Cable customers’ complaints on company’s products at any time and have the complaints resolved immediately, follow up on a recorded negative feedback – either through a telephone call or by making an impromptu/routine visit – to any customer experiencing product quality or other issues at a maximum of one week, coordinate with Product Control & Development, QMS, and PDS in finding the root cause of a problem, and provide the technical solutions in accordance with customer expectations.
• Conduct training and educate customers through Seminars/ Presentations about the products and its application technology to broaden customer’s knowledge and ensure the proper product usage.
• Conduct coordination meetings regularly with TSPD, Sales, and Marketing team to ensure about product quality, new application prospects and other latest information.
• Control schedules of Material Development trial and new and existing applications by preparing a sample, creating Free of Charge (FOC) sample request, and coordinating with Sales Product Handling and Distribution Admin to ensure sample products are delivered according to agreements and as scheduled for trial by the customer.
• Conduct a trial with customer by providing process guidelines to the new or existing customer.
• Conduct, control and analyse results of Laboratory Analysis Request (LAR), Non -Conformance Report (NCR), and Visit Trial Observation (VTO) to ensure optimization process and production quality and to conduct trouble shooting at customer.
• Create a breakthrough in promoting new products, help and give new ideas to TSPD team, Product Control & Development and MRB in making improvements and changes to the existing product and assist Technical Service & Product Development (TSPD) in developing new product applications
• Coordinate with Technical Service team, Polymer Sales, Product Control & Development, Distribution and Product Handling, advise the delivery of products for trial, special product, lot allocation and product development in terms of new formulas, additives and catalysts for certain customers based on their ability to provide good feedback, diversity of product types and technical difficulties to ensure accurate and informative results product trial results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• S1 Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, Material Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering
• Have a less than 1 year experience in related field. Freshgraduated are welcome to apply.
• Preferrable have an experience in thermoforming or cable industry. Have a good technical knowledge regarding plastic/chemical industry
• Good communication skill in English both spoken & written, also strong interpersonal skill
• Proficient using computer application (Ms. Office) to make report or presentation
• Having growth mindset, fast learner, resilient & early adaptive
