Job Description:

 

  • Responsible for all aspects of rotating equipment selection, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and start-up planning. Provide overall rotating equipment technical leadership and expertise.
  • Ensures the CAP2 Project's requirements, as detailed in the Technical Specifications, for all rotating equipment are met. Coordinate with other disciplines of PMT for progressing the design, procurement, manufacture, erection, commissioning and start-up of rotating and package equipment activities to adhere to project schedule.
  • Review all deliverable that related to rotating Equipment. Review, comment and approve work performed by FEED/EPC Contractor and vendors to ensure the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of mechanical design drawings, calculations, documents, and specifications.
  • Inspection, and monitoring the quality of all rotating and package equipment that related and project installations.
  • Participate in site material receiving inspections, conduct field erection inspections along with QC for compliance to erection tolerances. Monitor and Co-ordinate rotating equipment erection activities during construction
  • Review and approve spare part requirements for construction, commissioning, start-up and 2 year operation as per company policy and procedures. Check the 2 year spare part condition and hand over to maintenance after the project is completed.
  • Conduct meetings with Contractor, sub-contractor and vendor Engineers for adherence to specifications, to resolve technical issues if any and continue socialized to field supervisor or field inspector.
  • Prepare and submit daily report to lead engineer
  • Control the smoothness of the work by controlling schedule and WMS approval.
  • Monitor equipment after completed installing, and start up system by coordinate with production, based on manual and work instruction

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferably have 5 years of relevant experience, but open for Fresh Graduates.
  • Knowledgable and experienced in Machine design fundamental and calculation, Material part design and selection
  • Well understand in API standard and ASME code
  • Well known in basic machine characteristic and function such as pump, compressor and blower
  • Be able to clearly understand in GA, sectional and systematic drawing of machine
  • Be able to understand in machine installation procedure and overhaul manual
  • Basic machine inspection and monitoring
  • QA/QC for mechanical rotating equipment for inspection point and test run
  • Experience in field/on site to manage construction schedule and control supervisor in all activities
  • Fluency in English, speaking and writing
